Re: Do you hear sounds or mechanics when you play?

I think I know exactly what you are talking about. I constantly experience it myself.

If you only practice the pattern in one way, i.e. one sound source, or one dynamic, or while eating a...

Re: Todd Sucherman here!

Hi Todd -

Just wondering if you might be doing any clinics, etc., in the Boston area in the near future. I'm really looking forward to catching you next time you're around....

I'm looking for a 20" Taye Bass drum and/or a 16" Floor Tom. Both are Tour Pro-Antique Honey.

I have an 18" Bass and 14" Floor Tom.

Re: STOLEN Ludwig Vistalite Blue Drum Kit REWARD OFFERED

FYI...if the family sold them to a person that is unaware they are stolen, and they paid fair market value, then your only recourse may be against the family. At least that's Massachusetts law....

Vic Firth Hinge Sticks

In an attempt to work on my left hand (weak hand) fulcrum, I bought the Vic Firth Hinge Sticks and have been using them on a pad for about a month. If you're unfamiliar with them, here they are:

Drumset sounds

I'd like to add a few new sounds to my kit. I'm just wondering what everyone's favorite "non-traditional" accessories are....

Woodblocks, cowbells, roto toms, splashes, chinas, stacks?

What do...

Playing accents

I'm working through Benny Greb's book, The Language Of Drumming. There is a section where you play all the possible 16th note accents. My question is whether it makes the most sense to use Moeller to...

Re: is anyone ever satisfied with their playing?

To me, one of the greatest feelings in the world is - after days or months of hard, often frustrating work - finally being able to play something that I had never been able to play before. If I...

Re: Tell me what drum technique videos YOU want to see..I'll post them to my Youtube channel!

Funny you should ask! I would love a "play-a-long" video, at different tempos, that moves through the table of time. Is that something you can do, Mike?
