Re: New Gretsch Steve Ferrone Sig. Snare

Hey!, That is a nice snare but I am still enjoying my, now out of production, Pearl Steve Ferrone Signature Snare drum. Very little beats that one in my snare arsenal and sounds just as good as my...

... Mmmmm, probably...

Re: How do you hide how much you've just spent on drum stuff?

Amusing thread to say the least.

Re: Ludwig Supraphonic issue

I had a Ludwig shell re-chromed and it cost me only $90 CDN in Calgary. There are lots of chroming shops around that do car and motorcycle parts. All you have to do is take all the parts off and...

Re: Regrets about your first drumset

I still have my second drumkit, a 1966 Ludwig and my first was a set of 1960s Rogers in white marine pearl. I sold those to get married and I still have that starter wife, so it was a good...

Re: Help a clueless man buy some drums

I would also buy used. Check with Kijiji in your area. I have bought some great kits on that site locally. Prices are reasonable and no taxes if you buy used. I usually check there and buy kits...
