this is amazing! i love it! i use freehand..... kind of often but i could imagine this being quit hard to pull off since the cymbal is "above" your stick but its great im gunna try it

ive been played german for quite some time now and there is alot less focus on fingers and more on flicking the wrist its hard to explain but when i get goin real fast there isnt any noticeable...

i have personally switched from crossed to open back to crossed back to open and now crossed again lol there are disadvantages to both but i think there are more disadvantages to open handed

i play in a uhh "deathcore" band i guess lol ( i sometimes hate categorizing music) we play tempos between 210 and 220 i have a very loose grip and play PLENTY loud enough

the balance issue thing i remember this tip i cant remember wear but u sit on ur throne and u lift ur feet about 2 inches off the ground and hold it..

its supposed to help u get used to the...

i use ankle motion for really fast stuff but i know derek roddy would tell tell u that if it gets the job done then dont worry about changing and that as ur speed increases u might naturally change...
