1mm is cutting it close IMO. Also, wonder how much replacement ropes co$t?

20 years from now 'maybe' the snare, but the OEM ropes will deff fetch a premium.

Wouldn't want you to go thru the trouble of digging it out of storage and putting it on the kick, but for historical purposes, 'before' you sell it, you might want to photo it on the SLEISHMAN'S.

Some drummers technique decides their tuning, they may be more comfortable with tight heads and a said about of rebound, or loose...
