When come to vintage drums, I has 2 Ludwigs ( one 80:s and one 60:s), I have 70:s Slingerland, 70:s Premier, Trixon from 60:s, Geoway late 50:s, and LA Camco,

In Sweden you can buye 3 vintage Premier kit instead of1 Ludwig kit from same era (no matter that they are often out of roundnes, pure chrome, often in worse shape too.)
But great for us who dont...

It took many hours in my coutch in front of TV with Autosol ( polish for chrome) that winter .
But hey, what else to do in Sweden in november,december, january, february and march?

I do not either understaind why people dont like Premier as much as some other USA brands I own/owned ?!?!

Keep it simple -- Batter head is Ambassador Coated, and reso heads is Remo Ambassador Clear.

I got mail from Anton and toms are on their way . I cant barely wait to receive basdrum too.

Camco use both lugs. But I never see LA era ( 73-78) with other then "dw" - oval lugs.
George Way started with those lugs you still see on DW drums, back in 50:s.

Hmm.. yes, I like "modern sound" , of drums, clear, resonating. Fat, yes, but not so the drums loose that "singing" caracteristic.
Not fat as many hevymetal...

Thats ( one of thinks) what I like with "my" custom builder.
He chosse personaly trees from forest, he made shell with his hands, he designed lugs and built them by him self, he use his own...
