Re: Walnut drums

Thanks for the input guys. I decided I will give the walnut drums a shot. I will give a review in a few weeks once they are complete. I am also gonna try a 24" kick for the first time.

Re: Drum Workshop snares ( Not collectors ) Drum Workshop...

Here is what I know about the workshop series. They used the same lugs as the Pacific oval lugs. The only difference between them and the collectors are that they have no reinforcement rings. The...

Re: Coffee shop drum kit

Check out the yamaha hip gig kits or build one your self. Just buy a tom kick riser and mount the toms off the cymbal stands. For cymbal volume use smaller cymbals or attach a small piece of cloth...

On a side note I would recommend Dark Horse Percussion for a custom kit. They...

Re: DW vs. Ludwig

I have heard lots of bad stuff about ludwig lately, like having crappy bearing edges and not putting innovation into making better hardware. If it was just between the 2 I would pick DW. I would...

Yes, you are wrong. You can check prices on the SJC site and besides that just ask for a quote. The prices are about 1/3 of OCDPs prices. I found them to be much cheaper than other custom drum...
