then play single strokes then say paraddidle

actualy say rlrl or rlrr lrll not par-a did-dle

but what is speed if you dont have correct technique = injury

beat displacement is basically taking a beat - paradiddle for example RLRR LRLL - and moving it around either forwards or backwards

s0 paraddile displaced backwards 1 note becomes LRLR RLRL

the dvd is good but the pdf files are better than the dvd as the dvd is just a repetitive list of exercise...

i have noticed that playing up down tap full stroke accent exercises (green patterns chaffee book) at eight note 40 btm has really strenthened my wrists and improved my speed. again its the low tap...

ginger bakers video he goes onto describe his double bass technique where he plays jazz time ride spang a lang hi hat 2 an 4 etc.

i am having this problem as well.

i always bury the beater which is sending sock waves through my ankel and causing me some pain (damage probably)

practicing with double pedal is good.

i have been meaning to learn some song but it takes ages to transcribe them - this is shouild definatly...
