Re: Jason McGerr

I agree.

His playing and sound is great. The pocket on I Will Posses Your Heart is a mile wide. The track on Meet Me at the Equinox is killer too.

Re: The grooviest groove?

I agree. Brad Wilk has totally killer groove on some of his recordings.

There are lots of different but equally great grooves....Grohl, Questlove, Joey Waronker, etc.

Re: Danny Carey

I think he is at the top level, but not above. Guys like Antonio Sanchez and Jojo Mayer have more technical skills.

I agree, it's my favourite Tool album!

Re: not so perfect timing

So when you play 4 notes in a bar it's called Eighth notes, not Fourths?

I agree! I always try to make sure I don't concentrate on my playing too much but try to keep in time and dynamic...

Re: Best Drum Track Of All Time

I would agree that there is NO best.

But the one I like the most is probably 'Bullet With Butterfly Wings' by Smashing Pumpkins(Jimmy Chamberlain), so amazing. But if you get a chance to see him...

Re: Josh Freese

I love Josh, he's one of my drum gods! Songs like "Let's Have A War" by APC just blow me away. I really like his NIN stuff...plus his BLB, Evanescence, Offspring, and Chris Cornell work really rocks...

Re: David Silveria

I agree, I think David lost some of his groove after he injured his wrist.
