I understand the ergonomics part but i'm just wary that it might affect the sound. The shallower toms would mean less resonance if i'm not wrong and the smaller diameter of the bass drum would make...

Thanks 4strings! Opps, i forgot to say that one of my main concern is the bottom of the toms hitting/scrapping the bassdrum as i see this happening in many kits around especially when their toms are...

Oh, i was intending to mount the 13" tom on to the left side by itself actually.

Therefore the setup will be 8 10 12 up, 14 and 16 to the right and suspended 13 to the left.

What i meant is that he's using a mirage 14" snare drum without the snares for his current right sided suspended floor...

Why not check out the Yamaha Rydeen ?

IMHO, try and get a fusion configuration e.g : 10", 12", 14" toms and if possible a 20" bass drum.

As for cymbals, you can go for those Zildjian or Sabian...

Wow! 11 piece setup! what's are the components? double bass setup? I did consider that and was thinking of getting a Starclassic mirage kit in a double bass setup but unfortunately they only have 22"...

Did you order them with the Focus sound rings? I'm not sure whether i should include this in my custom kit or not, any advice on them ?
