I have the DW performance 8 x 14 steel..............................IMO, the best head I've used on it is an Evans Genera HD Dry.......................cuts down the overtones and has a great crack

I had one of my acros duracoated a few years ago.....................turned out great...............sold it about a year ago, but the finish held up perfectly

I've always found Billy Joel's stuff a bit harder.........................they weren't using a click and the time fluctuates quite a bit..............always hard for me to get that "feel"
