Re: LA area.. What's up??

Maybe, you gotta understand that there are a million other people with that same idea. I might be exaggerating. This area is very spread out and very car centered. The public transportation is a...

Re: Is there such a thing as a 'drum jam'? Something where just drummers get together and groove?

Yes, they are called "drum circles", or a drum circle. You need to go where the "hippies" are, like hippy festivals and such. I know there is a drum circle at the Huntington Beach pier once or twice...

Re: The thread to derail the thread derail thread

I have a question...should I buy a PDP Concept Maple or a Yamaha Stage Custom? I was thinking about getting a Tama Silverstar, but then I saw the new Pearl Forum series and it is AWESOME!!! When I...

Re: LA area.. What's up??

I'd imagine you'll spend the majority of your time in Ventura and only go to LA for important events. Probably you can find a good little warehouse space. That's what we do. I'm in OC though.

Re: Earning your gear?

I play a few gigs during the year, but if I played every week or every other day, or if I went on tour and made some money at this, then I would need pro gear. Right now my needs facilitate my wants....

I read this in a book about writing songs. Forgot the name of it though.

First comes an idea be it a riff or groove, or whatever inspires your music. You...

Re: Music you don't listen to anymore...

Even though I've heard Bob Marley's Legend album a few thousand times, I will still buy the new Remix album that will be out soon.

I have a lot of albums by Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin & Pink Floyd,...

Re: Thoughts on YouTube Covers?

LOL! Good point.

My thoughts on YouTube Covers? If it's a song I really like, then sure, why not? I have to really, really like the song because it isn't very often I'll watch a drum cover. When...

Re: Where are you? (when you log in)

Not compared to a lot off you guys. I read what some of you guys do and it sounds very productive. I usually log in with a beer in the other hand. Beer is PC, so let's just leave it at that.

Re: Help, Looking for a death metal complete kit for about 2000$ (maybe Tama silverstar)

Re: Where are you? (when you log in)
