If your first learning or getting it down loosen the springs on your pedal a touch and tighten your bass drum skin... it gives almost the same rebound, but allows the pedal to swing forward faster...

ya.. I have had people tell me how much they hate triggers and that they are cheating.. then after watching me play a show live tell me how good it sounded and want me to "teach" them how to use...

no pro that uses them? well your not a big metal fan i guess, Origin, Archspire, Arsis, many many many death metal bands use this technique... unless you can do 240-270 singles at 16th notes this is...

When I play the next day is often slow to start.. we play friday or Saturday nights...... we usually jam our set to warm up at my place.. load all the gear.. drive to venue..... play.. watch another...

Thanks man..... I have tried pretty much every drum vst software there is over the years and the second i started using bfd3 i knew it was the one..

the sounds are unmatched... the cymbal swells...

its 100% easer to play very fast bass drums with tighter batter heads..

trust me.. ive been at this for years... pedal settings, make a difference too.. and bass drums sound better low and...

you can always use the double pedal as a single while your learning too dont forget

start out with easy things like 1/8 and 1/16 notes to get the feel down..

snare drum rudiments and accent...

Start learning heel up.. just getting tight even solid hits... because after your done with playing...

That last point is true.. My 16th notes for blast beats top out around 237bpm -238bpm... my band writes at 240bpm sometimes and if i don't relax my arms will burn up......... I can do it but once...

I agree with playing at the upper range of your limit for a while to warm up... but you need to push yourself to have any gains. its like working out.. you lift till fatigue if you wanna get big......
