Thanks 'pasta' for the commants, but i really do need more so i can possibly re-think it and is learning songs and learning from books better or just as good as JUST learning from a teacher and what...

Well im twelve and ive been playing drums for over a year and through the whole of that time ive been taught by a good drum teacher. But right now im wondering if being self-taught would be better,...

Agian i would say to try the 3007, and then all the parts etc are available and it would last you years upon years. and when you sell it (if it gets that bad! lol) you would get a hell of alot more...

I own a sonor kit (a 503) and just looking on ebay and classifields inparicular you will find that sonor is not a well known brand (i.e. as much as pearl etc) and many many parts are not findable and...
