Can someone tell me if he is now using DW9000 pedals?

I wouldn't have thought he would switch as he is endorsed by axis.

Re: THE DRUMMING DICTIONARY.

Could someone please tell me what a triple flanged hoop is? From what I have gathered it is where the edge of a hoop is bent away from the drum.

Correct?

Re: Crap drums

The best thing is obviously new heads but it really important to learn how to tune correctly as this makes a lot of difference. Also a new snare and hats are good as the snare is the most recognized...

Re: Do you like the sound of your 16" floor tom? How do you tune it?

I tune my Pinstripe batter medium low and then the stock reso. nice and low too, just to give me that big bottom end. Then one moongel is enough.

I like it nice and deep with mid amount of...

Re: Do you think this is the bigest drumset?

Your right about how Bozzios is set up.

IN an interview he says he is more of a percussionist than a drummer. this satement is true when you watch his playing.

It's strange as its also quite...

I have a 9" wide cylindrical pillow which is 22" long which fits perfect in my bass drum. Pushed against the reso it sounds brilliant.

Re: Chris Adler

Well this really isnt fair. Watch them play, I am no guitar expert but I play a little and some of thier stuff is really difficult.

As for his kit, well he plays metal so isnt it ok for them to be...

Re: pro drummers with bad technique

I know Chris Adler lifts his left foot off the pedal plate when playing where as he keeps his right foot down.

I know this is bad.

Re: Selling my Tama for a small Sonor Force 3007.....??

Go for it!!!

If you want a smaller bass drum, better sound, less toms. It makes sense.

Re: How close are you to your Dream Kit?

Those sticks make me sick, not literally.

They are really badly balanced and too weighty.

Just my 2 cents.

Re: Who would you like to sit and drum with?

Re: What annoys you on peoples drum sets?

I hear you there. If you have a certain head on one and a certain on another each drums characteristic will sound wrong, like having powerstroke 3s and ambassadors on toms at the same time.

Re: What annoys you on peoples drum sets?

But come on, how many times have you seen the beginners kit with spaced toms tilted inwards, a snare too low and misuse of basic drum knowledge?

Who would you like to sit and drum with?

So if you could pick one person to sit and drum with who would it be?

They can be dead (for those Bonzo and Rich fans) or living.

Personally it would have to be Chris Adler, he seems so genuine...

Re: What annoys you on peoples drum sets?

I also hate Frankenstein kits, like little boys who buy 2 kits of different colours and merge them together.
