Re: Beginner: 2 up 1 down or 1 up 1 down?

Re: Cool drumming devices and unsquaring

Fair enough, thought it might help sort or resolve instead of separate, but if it feels like the jobbie job that's no fun

FWIW I'm just talking about keeping the stats PERSPECTIVE in mind when...

Re: Cool drumming devices and unsquaring

May I suggest actually USING your stats geek (said with love) training to AID you in thinking about variations.

You may have had people want to use a value you've calced about a population to...

Re: Wii Drum Kit - I need your opinion!!

Dan;

keep in mind the position of the original poster.
The poster isn't someone specifically looking to "get into" drums, but rather is writing a dissertation on interactive systems.

Re: Clarification/Judging Musicality

In that context, it's used as an impersonal pronoun - it's used to mean a non-specific individual.
"You" as we tend to use in casual US English has the problem of serving double duty as a personal...

I was shocked! Not so much by the act, but I just found myself wondering "how does someone come up with that?"[/i]
I mean that's couple of...

A daisy that's been peed on by a moose

"talking about music is like dancing about architecture"

I always find that quite a bit odd (I see it attributed to just about everyone, I'm confused as to the source) and I think has something...

Re: Venues in Seattle WA

I'll second Jazz alley (though often it's the heavyweights as opposed to local guys - basically the same circuit as Yoshi's in the Bay Area) so it's not so much a "local guy" type thing and Highway...

Re: Right-handed, yet left-footed.

Re: Songs that the rest of the band can't keep up with?
