Re: why cant the beater be centered?

Opinions will vary but I always felt I get the most volume just above center plus to me the pedal feels and performs at its best. There is no rule. Try different positions. If it feels right and...

Re: custom ddrum bubinga kit

Good luck with DDrum. I have the Dominator set up. I have had it for 2 years now. Great set but dealing with DDrum wasn't pleasant. First they offer what I got in 3 finishes which are black, sunburst...

Re: Why do you use you're hi hat?

I think the question should be " why don't you use your hi hat "

In most of todays music it's just someone constantly bashing a crash cymbal. It's like the ride cymbal and hi hats don't exist....

Re: Letting the Stick Rest on the Snare After a Stroke

It's just like those that squash the beater into the bass drum head. I've never done it. I can't. I think it sounds awful. You wouldn't hold a stick into your tom heads. I always went by that thought...

Re: Todd Sucherman here!

Ha ! I couldn't agree more about the snare wires. I bought an expensive pair of those "designer wires" and they were awful !!! In 30 years I have never had that much of a snare issue ! I put my $13...
