Re: Foot technique

Re: History of brushes and brush playing...

I wouldn┤t worry about this too much, you see, much of the forum is about anecdotes, etc. but very little about REAL playing.

At the end ALL you┤ll be able to find is GOSIP (people repeating...

Re: Does drumming get easier?

If you donĘt study seriosly it is very little what you are going to improve.

Most drummers can┤t play difficult fills, etc, you are talking about...it doesn┤t matter how many decades they have...

Re: unusual notation

Once again, there is no shorthand from Benjamin Podemski in his book, those abreviations are common places in Music AND ULTRALOGIC.

I have the same abreviations (and many more) in a...

Re: unusual notation

First time I had in my hands Podemski┤s was in 1972, that is 46 years ago. Then I couldn┤t read music but learned deducting it from THAT book, it took me about a...

You are guessing wrong is very usual, come man, that┤s elementary, hahah. All abreviations work like that, besides, on page 21 of the book is explained how abreviations work, again, he didnĘt make it...

Re: unusual notation

?

I don┤t know what do you mean by "shorthand notation", Posemsky┤s method is one of the best written, especially since is from 1940.

PROBABLY BEEN THE BEST for reading UNTIL THE 70┤s -...

2) What level of musician are you?
3) What are your expectations...

Re: Fast memorization when improvising? - methods - tricks - shortcuts ?
