Which way do your snares go, and why ?

Just wondering which way your snares go, ( left to right, or straight out from you ), and why ?

I have always had mine left to right, merely out of habit.

I have found over the years, you have to find someone you can stand to be around. The amount of time we spend together, (practice , gigs, photos, videos, etc ) makes it so.
