just want to if you try to strike the drum in the center with a longer beater, or just below center with a standard beater.

and yes the thread should have said 26" (bass not basa) drum players.

pretty close, i think mine is a 1987 model beaded shell amd different lugs. that cheapy drum allways sounded pretty good. still have it.

i did'nt tune it up yet, but as i tensioned up the drum a bit the head still sits real close to the hoop on one side. when i first put the hoop and head on about 4 of the tension rods are to tight to...

ok, so the drum showed up the other day and they shipped a LB417T, tube lugs. anyhow, i measured the hoops against my Pearl 2.3 hoops with a micrometer and they are they same.
