I usually target to learn new songs...

Re: Forum shenanigans - LDS 2014 - Photo's & video

Only checked this out on a laptop, but nice drum sound too.

Re: Learning to play well on a 4 piece kit ....

All my kits are 6 piece and I got my pratice kit set up with a stupid amount of cymbals.

Gigging is 4 piece. I play better on that and like to have my ride over the kick and thereby finding place...

Re: New Crush Drum kit

If you dont already have it, get a decent set of headphones, a dedicated headphone amp and loads of drumless mp3 files with songs of your choice.

Its fun to practice drums, but...

Re: Craviotto, C&C, Brady, Gretsch, Other?

I don't think you absolutely have to go overboard with the spending just because the church have someone who will chip in.
Just my opinion.

Re: Hearing the upbeat as the downbeat

For me its Tickt To Ride with The Beatles. A very simple song to play. But the guitar intro does not make it easy to find "1".

My solution - we start the song with the drumbeat -)
The guitarist...

Re: Sonor-king of the micro kits?

Re: Behind the scenes at Guru Drums - video.

That was a great insight. I think each drum gets both your heart and your soul!

Playing live, this is missing and it can be hard to make...
