I overplay. Even when soloing, I just dont correctly utilize the powerful tool of not playing a note

Phil Collins! Awesome, yet subtle "play for the song" kind of work throughout all of PG era genesis. I've always loved his style of hi hat work.

Bill Bruford and Ginger Baker are my top two, but I also like: steve Gadd, Neil Peart, Mike Portnoy, Danny Carey, Mitch Mitchell, Carter Beauford, Carl Palmer, Jo Jo Mayer, and Keith Moon.

Any of the fills from Cobwebs and Strange by The Who. I know alot of you debate Keith Moon's technical ability, but man, that guy could really fill.
