My bass drum pedal broke on a gig once. Not really break, but the beater came loose and was unplayable. On a funk tune as well. I told the bass player to turn his mids up to cover up. I got it fixed...

Hear hear! He was at UNT in October and WOW! He tore the house down. He pretty much played a 45 minute solo and totally killed. I don't think Ed Soph's kit made it through (which he was using).

I'm usually barefoot around the house, but I go for a very light shoe. Puma Trainers are my favorite. Thomas Lang uses them as well, except his are red and mine are black so I can gig with them.
