I agree, my kick drum goes WHOMP!! Kicks my ass, really, especially in a big room with high ceilings. My pedals are Flying Dragons with Iron Cobra beaters though, with the counterweights at the top...

LOL hate to rain on the parade, but ALL of the players in Kiss were not very good players, that band is a shtick, a good one, albeit.

Some people are more known for their impact on the drumming community, than on their actual physical abilities. Travis Barker's more a celebrity to the non-drummer, but a great player. DAVE GROHL...

my 12" always gets a little wonky too... usually the bottom head goes out. the rest of them sound great though... I always had a beef with 13" toms, which is why I don't have one lol ;)

Vic Firth makes a great stick, sku# KIDS... they're painted blue and they're grippy sort of. Good for 2-8 and Los Cabos makes a kid's stick called Generation Next :)
