Ive a sonor 2007 birch. It sounds awesome. The same price as pearl vision or less but LOADS better..... LOTS better. Fantastic kit. Im loving the birch sound. Dont use any damping whats so ever.

I must say im still using my old exports boom cymbal stands & there great! I love the way they fit into the stand so you can use then as a normal stand or boom unlike my new sonor 400 series as good...

sonor 2007 (birch) or 3007 (maple) are amazing qualty & great sounding kits. for the money. That gretsch looks like amazing value there has to be a catch!? Great sizes just what a use.

Ok well i would recommend looking at roland or yamaha then as there the best out there (ddrums are amazing but cost thousands) That simmons one well i dont think it will cut it for ya. Checkout ebay...

Checkout my kit in my link... its a 7 piece but sometimes i only use 1 floor tom & in small venues 1 bassdrum... actualy quiet alot :(

Why not look at the sonor 2007 (birch) 3007 (maple) range? Or have you got your heart set on a mapex. They are lovely kits but i love the way you can use the sonor bassdrums to mount cymbal stands on...
