Playing with a click is a great thing to practice.

You can also put on headphones and play along to CDs.

I think beginner drummers who don't know how to tune or have crappy kits that don't sound good will be more likely to use some kind of muffling.

But, as others have said, it can also be a product...

I think judging whether music is relevant or irrelevant is meaningless. It all depends on the listener.

15th century Romanian folk music is "irrelevant" today, but that doesn't mean certain...

Many times when a band performs to tape on a TV show, it's the decision of the show not the band.
