Now I only have 3, and 2 of those use those plastic strap thingies to attach the snare wires to the strainer, so I guess I'm good for now ^^ :D, but I'll search for more snares in the future, so who...

Well, all I found in the sewing bin here was some VERY thin wire (to sew, obviously ^^), and of course needles, ...
I'll go down to the sewing shop and try there :D.

Yes, indeed, thats the big problem, and I don't feel comfortable attaching a new Ludwig strainer on the snare (on which ribbons are possible)...

The kind of tom mount which require a big piece of junk (no offense :P) in the middle of the bass...

Why yes I have :), I have a small heater on oil, but it's not very effective, and electric heating is VERY costly on the electricity bill :(.
