Re: Drumless backing tracks?

This is really great playing.

Re: Practicing on an electric kit....

Hi. I have both and I highly recommend having an electronic for practice if noise is an issue. You can do a LOT of practice on one of these. No, it's not quite like an acoustic kit. If you play jazz,...

Please see a doctor. Last May, I felt out breath for no reason. I went my doctor and he sent me to the emergency room. They did an angiogram and found out I had one artery 99% blocked and one other...

Re: Positioning of 2 mounted toms

I like this set up for two mounted toms. You can center them in front of the snare and still have the ride cymbal low and to the right.

I agree with most of the above. Here's some others:

Re: More Creative on a Smaller Kit

Probably not more creative, but...

Re: The matching snare

Re: hi hat dis-assembly

I have an iron cobra. I take the top tube off, unscrew the rod, and put the rod in the bottom tube and put the top one back on. It only takes a few seconds. It makes the stand shorter for transport...

Re: Really wanky behaviour....

Here's the problem. The more musicians play for free, the more they will play for free.

I won't do it anymore even if it means I don't play. It doesn't have to much, but I feel it's giving us a...

Re: What's the best things about your playing?

The best part of my playing is keeping good time. I also listen to the other musicians and try to compliment them.

Re: The Muscle Shoals Sound

I just watched this. I had no idea about it. It blew me away. It's sad that kind of recording is dead or dying.
