Well I wouldn't call it big band, but big band music with a friends father back in 74. Piano, sax, cocktail kit for a restaurant on Friday night for the older generation. My generation now.

Vintage cars had style and class. Vintage drums are still round with heads on them. If the new methods make middle of the road drums sound like the expensive ones did before, I vote Nay on vintage.

Put it on a counter top and place a flashlight down thru the top and look for light where the snare strainer and butt are attached. I am having a drum sent to me after returning two that had snare...

There were prices listed at one time with two cymbals at 209.99 and the rest at 499.00. I have looked at two sites that only show one cymbal at 209.00

So does a clear coat lock in the harmful bits of this wood. I don't know if I would want this in my house with those issues. Every head change would expose the bearing edge to my face, etc.
