I just play a couple big band songs with this one band that I'm in - In The Mood by Glenn Miller Orchestra and Marie by Tommy Dorsey. I love it.

Instead of going to their gigs, how about they come to your gigs and ask to be in your band?

I auditioned for a band once. They rejected me. Since then I played about 200 gigs and they played...

Outdoor gigs I have people all around. They take pictures of my drums from behind or the side. It 's weird sometimes.

I bought an inexpensive used keyboard. The keyboard has 10 drum kits. I was amazed that the drum sounds on that keyboard sound exactly or nearly the same as the drum sounds on recordings for the past...

I think they are catching up. There seem to be an increasing number of models and brands of electronic drums. Maybe people are becoming more accepting of electronic drums and sampled sounds.
