Partial victory (but not defeated either)!

As I mentioned, I had two paypal invoices - one for a deposit and one for the balance. Spoke with Paypal today and it was decided that buyer protection...

I also uploaded photos which show the metal raised badge, which is not used on the Japanese made Bubinga Elites.

Here is my response...

Re: Advice - Paypal Dispute on Drums

I won't be taking them back unless paypal forces me too. No resolution here without going through the paypal resolution process.

Re: Advice - Paypal Dispute on Drums

Spoke with PayPal and they (so far) agree with me that it would be considered buyers remorse.

It's probably going to go to dispute.

Re: Advice - Paypal Dispute on Drums

I asked why he considered the Chinese construction cheap. .

"shells are thinner and lightweight. Construction is flimsy"

He also did concede that he should have asked questions before a...

I emailed them asking for some clarification.

EDIT:
Actually, reading through the terms, I may have saved myself.

I required a $500 down payment and then the balance due before shipping. ...

Long story short, I sold my Tama Bubinga kit to a fellow. Upon receipt, he wants his money back because they're "cheap chinese" drums. He offered to resolve the issue with me before...

Re: help a dad upgrade his son's kit?

Eh, I'm traveling a lot and playing gigs in small places. The Saturn doesn't get much use and I'd rather see it go to a good owner.

Plus I'm also in the market for a 20" kick set.

Re: help a dad upgrade his son's kit?

It's not that great of a...

Re: help a dad upgrade his son's kit?

Don't be afraid to consider used either. Many of my kits were previously owned and were in great shape. Those that know how to care for drums will sell them in great shape. Every kit I sell is in...

Re: Looking for a new drumkit 800$ ish

The reason for that price being so high is that Tama does not offer a 20" kick shellpack and those sets typically have to be ordered as components.

A 10-12-14-16-22-14 set runs about 2100-ish.
