I struggled with this for years. I had an arrangement with my neighbours that I only played weekends, but in the end I just got fed up with playing once a week and worrying about going on too long....

Weird - what is it about 20 years? I had 20 years off also - '85 to '05, and I've loved every minute of the playing I've done in the last 4 years.

I wouldn't have thought he needed to practice. Since DT joined Roadrunner, they have done 2 year long tours, interspersed with studio time. As with other bands, Roadrunner have these guys on the road...

I finally accepted that even mesh heads were not quiet enough to keep the neighbours happy so I went electronic. This is a Yamaha DTXtreme III base with an extra 5 pads to take it up to the maximum...
