Re: Yamaha Recording Customs - Help!!

Excellent deal.
From your first post, I thought they might need some cleaning up work, but they look squeaky clean, and well cared for.

Re: Guitar Center's used inventory

They've got some stuff on there right now that makes me wonder what in the heck they were thinking.
Someone might lose their job over it.
Way -WAY overpriced.
I shudder to think if someone buys...

Re: 5x15 Supralite

I think it's exclusive to Guitar Center - at least for now.

The drummer set up with a 6 piece DW kit with twice as many cymbals. I'll bet...

Re: Dust, pitting, oxide how this can affect?

Surface rust can be removed with chrome polish.
I usually use this: https://www.turtlewax.com/shop/products/turtle-wax-chrome-polish-rust-remover-12-fl-oz-

Actual pitting can't be removed. ...

Re: Pearl Roadshow Jazz Kit

AFAIK neither the Export, nor the Vision are available in a bop configuration.
And certainly not with an 18x12 bass drum.

Small, light, easy to transport, easy to play, and inexpensive,
are the...

Re: Pearl Roadshow Jazz Kit

Ya - I know about the larger sets. I like the bop size sets for the same reasons you mentioned.
I like a 5 piece, 18" bass drum configuration though.
I just wondered if you could buy individual...

Do you know if you can buy extra individual drums for it?
A 12" tom in addition to the 10" would put it right up my alley.

I call it the Starbucks syndrome.
Trendy, fad followers jacking up the price and ruining things for everyone.
Can't hardly find a good, strong cup of coffee for ten cents anymore - LOL...

Re: Pearl Roadshow Jazz Kit

Looks like a typo there. I'm pretty sure it's 14 x 10 deep.
