Thanks! Like I said it is not museum perfect like my other kit. So here are still some scratches that even all my efforts would not correct. Anyway still an amazing looking kit overall.

Re: Upgrade From Yamaha DP... 60's Ludwig?

Get some edge work done on the 60s kit of your choice. Problem solved. I had this done on a few of my vintage kits that I played on a regular basis.

Rogers from the Dayton era will have widest...

Re: Snare bearing damage, how affected is the sound?

Re: New Gretsch 3 ply Broadkaster line

I think they are cool. This is coming from someone who owns several round badge kits from the 60's and even a Gretsch bop kit (12 14 18) from the 60's.

Re: Contrats To Bermuda!

Well done on the album. It would be great to hear your experiences recording it and coming up with the material.
I LOVE the album name. Anyone who has ever served in the military can relate!

Re: Gretsch Stave Snare WOW

My favorite Gretsch snares so far are the 4160 and 4157. Both sound great and both are easy to manage.

I would say for being versatile either 3 ply Ludwig or Rogers drums from the 60's to 70's. Either will get you through most anything. I own both!
