Re: No Respect

Also...when it comes to "no respect" Chris Chase has ZERO room to dole out insults to anyone. If you follow the internet meme train of people bagging on his yahoo career, or just google "chris chase...

Re: Fraud Alert on eBay!

Maybe my idea of retail is skewed, but I don't see how you can defend a listing simply because it does "not claim to sell the product shown"

As a drummer raised near Cleveland OH, I can tell you, you just have to take jabs made from widespread social stereotypes with ten pounds of salt.

Re: The big debate: tribute bands - yay or nay!?

I understand what you're saying, I think personally, rocking some covers and getting a reputation of being really good at it is awesome. I would rather play music that comes directly from the minds...

Re: How do you cue your live tempos at the gig?

That all really depends on what you're playing, the environment you're playing in, and most importantly, the dynamic of each member of the band.

My band's song tempos can range from what you'd...

Had an emergency kick head situation I took care of with the clinic used head boxes....

Re: Why the "hate" for nylon tips??

The heads don't get dented until the tip flies off and you haven't noticed for a few seconds. I admit, I hit really hard. Oddly enough I dont seem to chip wood tips often. They usually round off, if...

Re: The big debate: tribute bands - yay or nay!?

I have a buddy who drums in a Tool tribute band. When they started doing it 12 years ago I think they were really into the idea of trying to cop the exact sound and look of the band, so bald singer...

Re: Why the "hate" for nylon tips??

I've had nylon tips from Vic Firth, Pro Mark, and Vater fly off and damage my heads. All within the last couple years.

I'll have to keep this in mind since I mostly use the Regal Tip Metal-X and...
