Overbooking/Double booking?
Hey y'all,
How do you guys deal with overbooking/double-booking scenarios? I'm starting to get too busy, a good problem to have no doubt (don't let my username fool ya), but one I am ill-equipped...

Bill Stewart. Even he said in a clinic that "I would not recommend my technique to anyone", but he gets that funny sound out of the ride cymbal because of his tight grip on the stick.

I would not recommend buying cymbals off of ebay. You really should hear your cymbals before you buy them, and test them, because each one has their own individual sound. Besides that it seems fine....

I would disagree with this strongly. Even though it can be argued that some music needs more attack and less sustain, I think that this should be done with either a wood beater or different...

I will second the Larry Finn. I don't know much about the DVD, but I've had him as a teacher and he's one of the best. Definitely a top-notch teacher.

Yeah don't worry about. I definitely know what it's like to play with a bunch of crappy players in a school band, it drove me MAD. I ended up quitting because the band director was being a huge dick...
