Which Tama pro line is not quality stuff ??

Keep in mind...... they've been doing the top stuff WITH THEIR OWN PARTS for much longer than probably most companies ever have.

I would not get the Prolite.

Get the ones you want............ BUT.. the way to do it is get one of the Inifinite series kits from Sonor. They have the thicknesses you want...

It's the Performer.. so could be the early philippine mahogany.. . or the later birch one, or the more recent B/B.

The Pro's were made in Germany. .. although they had shells from KHS/Mapex.. (still really nice drums) this is the info from SONORMUSEUM...

Yeah...... good points.. The early models were coming from the Pearl plant in Taiwan from what I remember. IMO.. I have always thought the Taiwan operations were top shelf quality. .. ...

Those lugs are pretty cool on the Concepts.... some people don't like them, but I always thought they look good.. and they did'nt cheap-out on the suspension mounts..
