Re: Teeth - drum kits in your head
I typically kill the overtones with gum. Big Red works great to get that slappy metal sound. Hope this helps. I also have a trigger system for creating sounds with my teeth while playing a regular...

Re: Joey Kramer
I used to play along to old albums like Toys in the Attic, Get Your Wings, Classics Live (killer drum performance throughout), Draw the Line, and IMO the best album, Rocks. The song "Combination"...

Re: Teeth - drum kits in your head
This is crazy. I thought I was the only one too. I have a pretty good library of music. I'm still working on Ticks and Leeches by Tool. I wonder if WFD will have a category. I must be up around...

I know what you mean. I listened to a live recording and absolutely no dynamics. I practice them often enough but have a hard time applying them live. It should be mentioned I have only my bass...

Re: Famous drummers and their fanboys.
I personally do not take Youtube comments seriously and I think using those comments as a citation to the "who's the best" argument is pretty weak.
Its pretty natural for people and teenagers...

Re: Worst idea in Drumming
I forgot about the side by side single bass pedals. So true. They are highly collectible and I was wondering if I should put them as a bad idea. I wonder how they sounded.
Although I love the...

I don't think you are in a position to decide on Neil's credibility, technical aspects or otherwise. I am however in a position to respond to your post which is my right as a forum member. You seem...

Do you really take Youtube comments seriously? Should I then take your poorly substantiated claims seriously? For one example, the innovation people may have been writing about does not deal with...

If you mean reflexes as the involuntary deep tendon reflexes then, no, they do not determine speed of voluntary movements. Everyone is wired differently and some are naturally more able to transmit...

Hello George!
Great to have you here. I saw a video of you and Thomas Lang a while back. Were there any ideas exchanged between you two and if so, what were they?
Thanks!
