Re: EGO's

It's funny that an over inflated ego can stay so strong in a "old" guy.

I know a guy who had a huge ego in his musical youth and it worked well for his onstage persona. Now, decades later, he is...

Re: Purchasing drums online: Ebay vs. Craiglist

With Craigslist , it will be a local transaction so you get to see what you are buying before you fork over the cash.

With Ebay, you won't end up in a shallow grave or wake up in a bath tub...

Re: Help - Meeting up with Guitarist

I'm not afraid of craigslist people but I kind of feel them out if I invite them to my place because I have a lot of gear that could easily be stolen. I'm a trusting but aware kind of guy.

If I...

Re: How do you feel the day after a gig?

I was dead last weekend, simply from the jacked up sleep schedule.

Got home at 2:30, couldn't sleep until the 5AM sunrise. I woke up at my normal 7:30 but felt like I could use some more sleep. ...

We tried to earn a living doing it.
We decided we should probably...

Re: When Your Band Won't Gig

I'd suggest that you keep going after gigs.

If the majority of the members are more comfortable in different venues than the ones you like, you should focus on those.

You should also keep...

Re: What's the best things about your playing?
