yeah sorry. but i think there should be more important things than tax when considering a drum purchase. but if it comes down to it some awesome drum are made in the US.

You can get some really high end european stuff too. Think Sonor. But then again theres some great japanese drum out there so yeah.

i think being able to play other instruments helps a lot. i think it helps to see how they can work together it should help you a lot with songwriting. i know playing guitar and bass has helped me...

ive over come a lot of the independence issues ive had before and im starting to be able to play what i can hear in my head. i think the main problen was getting my arms and legs to do what i want em...

hmm dont really know anyone who took lessons theres only 2 i know one llearnt as a second instrument through school and the other is self taught. i could ask my old guitar teacher is he knows anyone...

to start a new page go in to the area you wish to make a post and anf like at the top theres 3 bars one with an ad, one with user cp, faq etc and one with the are of the forum ie drum technique....

whats the best way to find a good teacher, yellow pages, drum shop, internet classifieds. also how do i know theyre good. is there something to look out for or just find somebody a tutor that you gel...

Thanks, i think ill try that book. Do you guys think lessons are essential for quicker progress on the drums or can you be self taught and progress fine without assistance.
