Good product, but I dont see why it would not soon be replaced by a smartphone app. On that basis I would not invest in the tune-bot company.
BTW I am on my second tune-bot, first one stopped...

I am one of those thats not so keen on the DW sound. Having said that, DW make beautiful drums and is a very innovative company. I would much rather have Gretsch owned by them than some investment...

The pressure would be the same everywhere inside the drum and therefore the venting ability would be the same no matter where the vent is placed.

I guess there are 2 elements.
1. Figuring out what is played/transcribing the part
2. Learning to play that.

I find YouTube to be a time saver on item 1.
I usually target to learn new songs...

Well I am sure you guys want to see the outcome. After I got all the parts I realized the drum did not have a snarebed. Making a snarebed is something I have no experience with and I left the project...

All my kits are 6 piece and I got my pratice kit set up with a stupid amount of cymbals.

Gigging is 4 piece. I play better on that and like to have my ride over the kick and thereby finding place...

For me its Tickt To Ride with The Beatles. A very simple song to play. But the guitar intro does not make it easy to find "1".
