I agree with OCTO on this one. I think that his drumming fits the music. There isn't one blink song that I could see straight notes on a bass drum fitting in. Also, he is well versed in jazz and...

I dont know if this is a little late or if you have already purchased the heads but I use the G2 coated and i like them a lot. Also you could try the EC2's ive never used them and they are fairly new...
