Try this,Loosen up top and bottom heads then with pressure in the middle of the head with one hand tighten head till the wrinkles just disappear around each lug.Your done.....

Sorry i totally disagree.Yamaha Stage Custom ,especially with the YESS Mounts are night and day better than Tamas 2 kits in question..Not even close........

Yes i too had heard he was driving a sports car and lost control..As for his drumming.I dug the band in its heyday.But playing with one arm ,Not only Is inspiring,But Kudos to the rest of the band...

Im A big Fan of Yamaha's Maple,Birch or Oak Customs..............Look on EBay......They are Pro level kits and can be had in your price point...Aside from being great sounding,their hardware Tom...

Just called and its true Discontinued, That suks i was wanting the matching snare that i guess will have to keep a eye on......If anyone has the Blue oyster snare id gladly take it........

Thats the finish i went with. No Issue with tom mount.As for the legs I Take them out and slip them in hardware bag..Kit is LIGHT,I Have the smaller 20" bass Sometimes on a not real great riser...

Thanks for all the replys..Its a shame i cant hear the 2 kits.But leaning to getting the Renowns as its now 225 cheaper plus has the extra drum.Comes with matching snare......
