I have had one of these snares and loved it. I am sure you will too.
You got a bargain. They are an undiscovered jem. I have some very fancy and expensive snares and this one stood up with them...

Hi Guys
As promised some before and after pics.
When I stripped the drum about two cigarettes worth of ash fell out of it.
Sounds sweet now though..

Hi Drummers
I have just bought a snare drum for a very reasonable sum of money.
It is in sound shape but needs new heads and snare wire and a clean up.
I am waiting for a 20 strand 14" puresound...

My favourite wooden snares are my Mapex Blaster and Saturn. I also have a Pork pie of which I am rather fond.
Not exotic or fancy but I like them. So do people who hear me play them, so I am told....
