I was deciding between the same kits, I chose the Sonor Select s drve because of the rims style mounts on the tama .I've had two kits with rims and the toms bounce a lot, at times you can hear them...

Funny about the badge thing,I received my Sonor select force kit about a month ago,I was working on the batter side of my bass setting the tom angles and the 10 had the badge facing toward the snare...

The cymbals with the pdp are OK look like xs20?, but I agree with gretsch-o-rama that pdp kit probably is very good and the iron cobra is a great pedal-
