Yes the PDP X7 are higher quality and awesome. But if you really need double bass, the Rockstars are a great buy and in my opinion way better than Pearl Exports.

I like the bass drum, but Im sure you could get a better set than that. Seems like the Travis Barker name makes it good..............but its still cheap...dont know?????

Thanks, great link. I think I will go ahead and order a new SK2 as the one I have must be 12+ years old but in good shape. I will try it with or without the towel.

The pillows barely touch the head but maybe they are too big. The bearing edge on the playing head side should be fine because of all the head changes but the front heads may have debris in them as...
