Re: Bid like a man!

My favorite is Or Best Offer, when you offer up to $15 below buy it now and get declined. Then look at the pages and pages of items for sale. I may be old fashioned but I still believe used stuff is...

Re: Ludwig Copper Phonic

Re: Ludwig Copper Phonic

The hardware takes some weight off it and it has a Fibrskyn batter, 'twill be interesting to hear how it sounds. I will probably put 12 strand wires on it as I prefer them on metal shell snare drums....

Re: Ludwig Copper Phonic

One observation I have noted with the Copperphonic is the badge, vent hole size and positioning of the vent hole. It seems to me that the badge and grommet are smaller than say a pre serial cob and...

Re: Black Beauty Head Selection?

I agree about the poo Ludwig head on most snare drums but on a brass shell leave on the poo and put some 12 strand wires on it.

Re: DW, the Scientology of drum companies?

One of the things that I have learnt while drumming is to trust my instinct as far as drums go, so scientific jargon is just spin. Let us be the judge of which drums give us the ability to play to...
