Re: Under Rated/Under Stated Drummers

Joey Baron

I'm not sure if Joey Baron could be considered Under Rated/Under Stated, but I haven't heard/seen many people talk about him. His work on Naked City is amazing

Re: If you could be endorsed by your companies of choice...

5-8 for sure.

Re: Lottery win - which kit?

A custom Trick kit in that natural grey finish that GC used to have. Sizes would be 24x14, 14x12, 16x14 or 18x16. Then I'd probably buy two 20in or 22in Dream Energy crash rides and 15 hi hats.

Re: Thought I'd try this....a Griffin?

I say go for it!

About the roto tom, the drummer for Evkain uses a 14in roto tom for a rack tom and a 16in roto tom for a floor tom. I think he uses a 26 Bonham reissue bass.

?uestlove is another guy getting into that territory via...

Re: Periphery drummer Matt Halpern leaves Mapex for Yamaha

Its weird because Halpern was so ecstatic over the Mydentity line. He was The Guy for it.

Re: Pink drumkit! HotT or not?

I think a flat pink kit with chrome hardware and silver or white cymbals would look dope

If you're into multiple musical styles and enjoy experimental music then infinite

If you only like blues, classic rock, and some jazz then finite

You'd probably have to take all the hardware off though...

Re: Rawness

I love raw, fuzz filled music. Rawness seems more real and human to me. I'll take a raw, kinda sloppy band with lots of passion over some over produced studio band any day.

Re: 18in Bass Drum Advice

All you need is hihats, a crash, and a ride to play most music!

Thanks for the compliment evilg!
