Re: The Drumbassadors

They are fantastic! Two outstanding and unfortunately very underrated drummers. I once saw Renee Cremers doing a clinic and his musicality, creativity and dynamic playing just blow me away. He should...

Re: Shoes Advice

If you want to sound like Dave Weckl wear ballet shoes.

Listening is Practicing

You can only play what you can hear. So shouldn't concentrated and focused music listening be an important part of our practice routine? And do you consider the amount of time that you spend...

Re: The fastest singles in the world - best technique in the world?

Sorry Jeff, but it's probably just not my style of drumming.

It's true that he himself doesn't lack expression but if you actually just listen to the solo without watching him I think it's solely...

I would like to take this definition even a little bit further and add another form of independence, the independence of dynamics: the ability to play different dynamics with your four limbs at the...

Re: Double stroke roll example

Listen to the song 'Hounds of Winter' on the Sting album Mercury Falling. At the start Vinnie Colaiuta comes in with probably the cleanest double stroke I've ever heard.
