Re: "Oh no - Not another new bearing edge!"

It reminds me of the Roto-tom solo at the beginning of Time by Pink Floyd. I'd like to hear a cover using drums with these bearing edges.

Re: Dry heads for ludwig blackrolite acrolite snare?

Re: What do you put in your drum bag>

My drum bag has a tambourine in the shape of a fish (fits nicely over my foot), a set of wooden spoons, a shaker that looks like an avocado, and a pair of wood tip 5A drum sticks.

Re: I must be a sesquipedalian

What are you talking about now, Duck? You must be cat lovers because you're so finicky. Maybe your ears are defective. Ever thought about that?

Re: What is your drum setup pet peeve?

The pedal rebelled against you for making it play a Whitesnake song. Now's your chance to get an Axis pedal.

Re: What is your drum setup pet peeve?

I don't like hoops any thinner than 2.3mm, except for the Acrolite I can make an exception. I wonder how much it would change the sound if I bumped up the hoop size on the Acrolite? Could it possibly...

Re: Gurus played hard!

Hey, that wasn't half bad at all. I think those Gurus sounded the best right after the 1 minute mark.

Re: Rock Gigs Not Very Rock Anymore?

Nice! Yeah, people need to do more of that. I've always played behind older women who weren't much in the looks department (or singing for that matter).

Re: Rock Gigs Not Very Rock Anymore?

I've always wanted to hire a stripper to dance on stage while we play, it might be distracting though (to the musicians).

Re: Which wood type to go with

I'm curious to hear a ddrum Reflex kit in person. It is made of Alder wood. Do any of the custom builders use alder wood? I've seen ash being used, but not alder wood.

The vintage Fibes kit I...

Re: Which wood type to go with

If you have never owned an acoustic kit, then how do you know that you have a preference for Tama, Pearl and DW? How do you know you wouldn't like a Taye? or Gretsch? or even PDP?

Re: Gig this Saturday by the beach!

Hey, it was great to meet you, Bo. I really liked your blue sparkle Luddy kit! The band sounded great. I just wish I could have caught more of your set. Cheers!
