Re: Used Frontline Custom Drums, Should I buy?

The seller got them as a repayment from a service he provided to a friend. He is not a drummer. He posted it briefly on craigslist a while ago, but he is in a pretty out-of-the-way area so nobody who...

Re: Like a virgin, Yamaha bass drum plate.

Is there a way to get the black square/rectangle one with the PDP logo on it? I've got an LX series and since I don't use the tom mount, it just looks more professional to me to have a virgin kick,...

Re: Knee Pain?

I've got the knees of a 65 year old man, but I've never had knee pain after playing for any amount of time, and I play right after I get home from school/track practice, if it doesn't hurt walking...

Re: Refinishing

I had planned on experimenting with dirt cheap shells, and seeing how they turned out, then maybe doing my own kit. How expensive would a router good enough to get the job done be?

Re: THE DRUM MODIFICATION THREAD.

Sound quality, a good set of heads tuned properly is the determining factor on whether or not your drums produce eargasms, or if they make people leave the building. After a while, the heads will...

Refinishing

So I've wanted to refinish drums with a buddy of mine for a while, and had planned to start on basically an unused cheap Pearl Forum from who knows how long ago, and was wondering if anybody had any...

Re: Help Picking Drum Set

I've played on the Rock Tour before, and it definatley is an impressive kit, our school percussion program got it to use for their winter percussion show, and it definitely has a ton of punch to it,...
